There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult.

What we do
Mossend Software builds software that moves a business's bottom line. We deliver complete systems: full backends, frontends, data pipelines, and machine-learning integration.
We handle everything around the build: design, infrastructure and delivery. We manage servers, take deployments end to end, and maintain what we ship.
- UK-based. A UK company, run by a UK team.
- Data-heavy, regulated industries. Financial services, telecoms and contact centres, where accuracy and confidentiality are regulatory requirements.
Where we fit
Some businesses need a system built from the ground up. Others have something serious in flight that needs rescuing, extending or taking to production. Either way, we own the outcome: design, build, delivery and the running of it. We measure our work by what it does for your bottom line.
What we believe
- Systems can be understood. A system can be understood as a set of functions with input and output. If we can define the input and output, we can define the program.
- Scope is a feature. We define the work upfront. No open-ended engagements dressed up as discovery.
- Costs should be manageable. We keep things lean and honest. No padding, no surprises.
- Relationships outlast contracts. We would rather earn a call back in two years than squeeze more from this quarter.
How we work
Small team, direct communication, no layers of account managers between you and the people writing your code. You will work with senior engineers from day one, because that is all we have. We work with you to define the program, build it, ship it, and hand it over cleanly.
